Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural EIT/Coordinator to join our team at HDR. As a key member of our structural engineering team, you will be responsible for performing assignments that exercise judgment in evaluation, selection, and modification of structural engineering techniques and procedures. You will also make decisions on significant design and engineering features as needed, function as a Project Manager on small and mid-size projects, and supervise a small staff of professionals and technicians.

Responsibilities
  • Perform assignments exercising judgment in evaluation, selection, and modification of structural engineering techniques and procedures
  • Make decisions on significant design and engineering features as needed
  • Function as a Project Manager on small and mid-size projects as needed
  • Supervise a small staff of professionals and technicians as needed
  • Perform other duties as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering
  • Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, RISA, Staad, SAP, Tedds, RAM, ETABS, SAFE or similar
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
Preferred Qualifications
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate
  • Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of "Coordinator" and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression
