Holt Group Inc is a leading provider of heavy equipment and services. We are currently seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Hauler to join our team in Texas.
Job SummaryThis position involves the safe transportation of heavy equipment to and from various customer locations and stores. The ideal candidate will have experience with local hauling, loading, unloading, and securing equipment.
About the Role- Deliver and pick up heavy equipment for customers in a safe and timely manner
- Secure equipment using chaining, strapping, and blocking procedures
- Perform pre- and post-vehicle inspections to ensure safe operating conditions
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, or damage to the vehicles
- Complete DOT-required driver's daily log and trip sheets accurately
- Three years of driving experience preferred, with verifiable over-the-road experience operating combination commercial vehicles
- Valid Driver's license with Class A CDL certification, DOT Physical Examination (Medical card)
- Possess knowledge of and/or previous experience in driving delivery trucks, towing tandem axle utility trailers, and towable construction equipment
We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 per year, based on experience, as well as comprehensive benefits, including health care, 401(k) matching, and profit-sharing.
