Job Title: Scheduling Manager

At QISG, we are seeking a highly skilled Scheduling Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for assisting Business Developers and Project Managers with all facets of planning and scheduling for proposing and executing EPC, Design-Build, or CMAR project delivery focused on power delivery and water infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze information from multiple and interdependent construction projects to develop consolidated project plans and schedules that maximize organizational efficiency.
  • Prepare reports anticipating the impact of projects on multiple teams or functional areas, including finance, engineering, human resources, facilities, and production/manufacturing.
  • Secure project resources as needed and track project progress against plans, identifying and resolving conflicts or roadblocks.
  • Develop Linear Schedule Method (LSM) and Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules and updates, including development, master project schedule integration, and cost-loaded resource assignments.
  • Work collaboratively with pursuit and project leaders, engineers, estimators, procurement specialists, suppliers, and trade contractors to develop, baseline, and update project schedules using multiple formats and software.
  • Create and maintain alignment of the work breakdown structure with the financial breakdown structure of pursuits and projects.
  • Develop cost and resource loaded schedules, incorporating earned value metrics and Key Performance Indicators.
  • Support and challenge project teams to develop accurate productivity durations and optimize the sequence of work.
  • Incorporate change management and activity progression updates.
  • Assist with Risk Management identification, qualification, and mitigation planning.
  • Identify, document, and perform schedule analysis and time impact analysis.
  • Maintain sufficient and accurate documentation and storage.
Requirements:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the field's concepts and principles.
  • Perform complex tasks typically following established processes.
  • Lead and direct the work of other employees and have full authority for personnel decisions.
  • Primarily focused on administering established policies and procedures but may have some impact on departmental budgeting, strategic planning, and procedural change.
  • Proficiency in using Primavera P6.
  • Competent in use of schedule reporting for analysis and presentation purposes.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, or relevant field.
  • Over 10 years of direct experience with design, permitting, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams on developing schedules for heavy construction, power delivery, wet infrastructure works, developing resource/cost loaded schedules and familiarity with earned value metrics.
  • Proficiency in using TILOS.
  • Familiarity with Acumen analysis software.

  • Self-starter who can work independently while supporting the needs of the team.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization.
  • Customer service and effective time management skills.
Travel Requirements:

Up to 20% travel required.
