Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Shop Manager to join our team at Equinox in Austin, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking to make a significant impact in a growing and dynamic organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales & Service:
    • Achieve assigned monthly sales goals and contribute to the overall store goal.
    • Coach and develop Shop Associates in selling tactics, tools, and key business metrics.
    • Ensure an unparalleled customer experience for all visitors to The Shop and Equinox.
    • Maintain knowledge of all club and Shop services, programs, and products.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Understand and uphold all loss prevention and inventory management policies.
    • Ensure total team adherence to these policies and timely completion of assigned operational tasks.
    • Assist in hiring, training, coaching, and development of Shop staff.
    • Assist with scheduling and shift coverage.
  • Product & Presentation:
    • Ensure The Shop and Shop staff reflect the company brand standards.
    • Enforce and maintain excellent housekeeping and organizational standards on sales floors, at cash wraps, and in stockrooms.
  • Professional Dimension:
    • Build effective relationships and partnerships with fellow employees, colleagues, supervisors, and clients.
    • Maintain working knowledge of happenings and general standards and practices outside of The Shop.
    • Comply with and enforce all company policies and procedures.
    • Communicate clearly and effectively at all levels with both tact and diplomacy.
