RN - CMC Emergency Services - Part Time - 12 Hour - Nights

At John Muir Health, we are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Services team on a part-time basis. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide Direct Patient Care: Deliver exceptional patient care, assessing, and addressing the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients and their families.
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team Members: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
- Manage Patient Flow: Efficiently triage patients, prioritize care, and manage the flow of patients through the emergency department.
- Participate in Quality Improvement Initiatives: Contribute to quality improvement efforts, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.
- Develop and Maintain Clinical Expertise: Stay current with the latest clinical practices, technologies, and research, and apply this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Experience: 1 year of acute care experience, with a minimum of 2000 hours of emergency nursing experience within the last 3 years.
- Certifications/Licensures: Current RN licensure in California, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certification.
This part-time position will work 12-hour night shifts, with a scheduled weekly hour of 24 hours. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, making a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
