Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at the Coast Guard Community Services Command. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome and engage with customers, providing a positive and welcoming shopping experience.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of products and services, including features, benefits, and pricing.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card, and other payment methods.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and inventory management, ensuring a well-stocked and visually appealing store environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and objectives.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
