Role Overview:
As a Financial Revenue Consultant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with finance, operations, IT, and business leaders to facilitate mergers and acquisitions from the initial agreement through due diligence, closure, valuation, financial reporting, and complete integration.

  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders and ensuring effective communication.
  • Assessing revenue recognition impacts of acquisitions and new business models, providing strategic guidance to the business.
  • Designing and executing efficient and automated integration processes for new acquisitions and business models.
  • Overseeing a team responsible for financial analysis, journal entries, and reconciliation of revenue-related accounts.
  • Managing a team tasked with generating periodic reports to meet internal and external reporting needs.
  • Directing the implementation and documentation of processes, controls, and policies to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Preparing and reviewing technical accounting documentation related to revenue recognition and business combinations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Active CPA license.
  • Experience supervising monthly and quarterly closing activities, account reconciliations, and audit preparations.
  • Proficiency in contract analysis under ASC 606.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero, Rev Pro).
  • Over 7 years of relevant experience, ideally a blend of public accounting and private sector roles.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of revenue recognition and accounting principles.
  • Ability to communicate complex topics to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Experience managing a team, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills to plan project activities effectively.
  • Adaptability and interpersonal skills to work across various business units and levels of management.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with quote-to-collect processes and market strategies.
  • Experience in mergers and acquisitions or business model integration.
