Job Description

Catalyst Health Group is seeking a highly skilled Payment Posting Lead to join our team. As a Payment Posting Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate reconciliation of payments made on the services rendered by our providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Post line items and adjustments to patient accounts, balance receipts, reconcile daily work batches, and prepare audit trails.
  • Generate posting reports and reconcile items posted in the PMS system to the bank daily and monthly for assigned accounts.
  • Work with accounting to ensure all patient revenue is posted and reflected in the GL for monthly financial reports.
  • Review Explanation of Benefits (EOB) for consistency and resolve patient questions and complaints regarding insurance billing.
  • Resubmit claims and process all insurance/patient correspondence, providing all documentation to expedite payment.
  • Follow up on assigned accounts and contribute to interdepartmental projects to meet business needs.
  • Develop, interface, and maintain relationships with providers' office leadership, including leading monthly KPI meetings as needed.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum five years medical business office experience.
  • Develop training material and lead business unit readouts.
