The Strategic Division (SD) plays a crucial role in supporting high-reliability organizations, including the Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) and the Department of Energy (DOE). Our services are rapidly expanding and include essential functions such as data analytics, threat assessment, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimation, earned value management, program oversight, systems engineering, independent evaluation, and prevention of High Consequence Events.

Within the Strategic Division, the Strategic Development Group (SDG) is seeking a Technical Program Analyst - Subject Matter Expert to provide vital support for key U.S. government initiatives. This role is pivotal in delivering Systems Engineering, Systems Safety, and Financial Analysis expertise.

Key Responsibilities

The Analyst will act as a Subject Matter Expert, offering support to the Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) COLUMBIA Class (CLB) Project Team. The primary focus will be on assisting the Project Team in planning and executing significant construction and testing activities that facilitate the integration of the Strategic Weapon System (SWS) aboard CLB submarines. Responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging with senior stakeholders from both government and industry.
  • Participating in planning sessions, both virtually and in person.
  • Reviewing and providing constructive feedback on technical documentation and processes.
  • Assisting in the resolution of project-related challenges.

This is a part-time hybrid role, requiring attendance at in-person meetings as necessary.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship with a DoD Secret Clearance.
  • A minimum of 25 years of experience in planning and executing SWS-related submarine construction and testing.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Strategic Systems Programs.
