Job Overview

As a Senior Field Account Executive, you will engage with clients within the State and Local Government sector. Your primary focus will be on generating new business sales revenue through a Software as a Service (SaaS) licensing model.

Your success in this role will be driven by effective account and territory planning, thorough research of potential clients, and the implementation of strategic business development initiatives. You will conduct field-based sales activities targeting a specific group of prospects, territory, or industry vertical.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and nurture relationships with various C-suite executives (e.g., CFO, CIO, COO, CDO) across all product offerings.
  • Lead the client relationship mapping process for the account team, coordinating a comprehensive account strategy while collaborating with a diverse virtual team, including Solutions Consultants, Solutions Specialists, Success resources, Partners, and Marketing.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients by gaining a deep understanding of their business needs and providing insights on how ServiceNow can enhance their IT strategy.
  • Identify and engage the appropriate specialist or support resources to involve in a deal at the optimal moment.
