We are seeking a highly skilled Service Desk Analyst to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a Service Desk Analyst, you will play a critical role in providing technical support to our clients and resolving complex issues in a fast-paced data-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, or in-person, resolving issues related to applications or provided services.
- Document issues in Jira and collaborate with the Operations team for issue resolution.
- Work with developers and the service engineering team to troubleshoot issues, collaborate with clients on issue resolution, and provide updates.
- Develop SOPs and troubleshooting guides, analyze issues, and proactively notify customers about upcoming maintenance or service issues.
- 2+ years of experience in Help Desk or Service Desk operations.
- Experience with Data Systems, Data Services, and.NET applications.
- Experience using DevOps tools such as Jira.
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and Test Methodologies.
- Ability to analyze requirements and formulate an issue.
- Ability to research, be creative, and problem solve.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in an IT, CS, or Data Science field.
- Experience with programming languages such as.NET, Python, or R.
- Experience developing web-based support documentation.
- Experience executing the automation process.
- Knowledge of data and data-driven analytical applications.
- Possession of excellent analytical and logical reporting skills.
- Possession of excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
