About the Role

As a Credentialing Coordinator at Astrana Health, you will play a vital role in optimizing credentialing operations and elevating system performance. You will work closely with the Credentialing Specialists to ensure seamless, up-to-date processes and drive excellence in management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Credentialing Specialists with initial and reappointment credentialing applications and conduct follow-up as needed
  • Prepare for upcoming meetings and input credentialing data into the credentialing software database accurately and timely
  • Work closely with IPAs and Hospitals to ensure exceptional customer service
  • Maintain provider state licenses, DEA certificates, malpractice insurance, and other required credentialing documents
  • Represent the MSO while interacting with internal and external contacts
  • Manage incoming calls and direct to credentialing specialists as needed
  • Stay up-to-date with credentialing accreditation standards, including NCQA and Joint Commission
  • Organize digital credentialing files and documents
  • Ensure all credentialing verification sites have an account balance at all times
  • Ensure supplies are fully stocked
Qualifications
  • Ability to work with multiple projects and deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
  • High School Diploma
  • 2-3 years' experience in office required

  • The total compensation target pay rate for this role is between $20.00 - $24.00 per hour.
