The Opportunity Alliance is seeking a highly skilled Crisis Intervention Specialist to join our Mobile Crisis Response Program. This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in crisis intervention, social work, and community support.

Job Summary

The Crisis Intervention Specialist will provide direct service and immediate intervention to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. This will involve assessing the situation, providing crisis stabilization services, and coordinating with community resources to ensure the individual receives the necessary support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide crisis assessment and intervention services to individuals in need
  • Coordinate with community resources, including law enforcement, healthcare providers, and social services
  • Develop and implement crisis stabilization plans to ensure the individual's safety and well-being
  • Collaborate with the crisis team to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated response to crisis situations
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in crisis intervention and social work
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in crisis intervention, social work, or a related field
  • MHRT/CSP certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
