Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated School Paraprofessional to join our team near Bangor,Maine.

About the Role

This full-time position involves working 1:1 with students in a supportive setting, focusing on behavior needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement individualized strategies to provide direct support to students with behavioral needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create a positive learning environment.
  • Support the implementation of behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Foster social, emotional, and academic growth in students.
  • Document student progress and communicate with the educational team.
Requirements:
  • Ed Tech III Certification is required.
  • Previous experience working with students with behavioral needs is preferred.
  • Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with students and contribute to a team environment.
Schedule and Compensation:

Monday Friday, 7:15 AM 2:35 PM. Estimated annual salary $42,000 - $50,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
