About the Job Description
As a Psychiatric Technician II, you will be responsible for:
1. Providing direct patient care, including administering medications, conducting medical procedures, and assisting with daily living activities.
2. Observing and evaluating client behavior, identifying potential risks and concerns, and developing interventions to address these issues.
3. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each client.
4. Maintaining accurate records, documenting client interactions, and reporting any changes or concerns to supervisory staff.
5. Participating in ongoing education and training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge in psychiatric nursing and related areas.

About the Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
1. A valid California State License to practice as a Psychiatric Technician.
2. One year of post-license experience assisting mental health professionals in the delivery of preventative, therapeutic, and rehabilitative psychiatric services to emotionally disturbed or mentally ill clients at the level of Psychiatric Technician I.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
4. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
5. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
