What to Expect as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with IntelyCare, you'll have the opportunity to work in post-acute facilities, providing compassionate care to residents. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring residents' physical and mental conditions and tracking vital signs
  • Performing resident intakes, documenting medical histories, and tracking health concerns
  • Helping with medication administration and tracking use and effects
  • Cultivating a comfortable and safe facility for residents
  • Tracking medical records and charts
  • Assisting with IVs, immunizations, and phlebotomy procedures
  • Keeping track of medical supplies and maintaining inventory
  • Following and adhering to resident care plans
  • Working with staff to orient and train new colleagues
