We are currently seeking a Regional Director of Clinical Operations to oversee our newly established territory. The ideal candidate should reside within a reasonable commuting distance from the designated area. This role involves leading the region's healthcare services and managing clinical leaders effectively. Responsibilities include supervising, coordinating, evaluating, and developing care teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality services in accordance with company policies, state and federal regulations, and nursing standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage a team of Nurse Case Managers to ensure safe and efficient home care services.
  • Oversee financial management and operational affairs for the assigned region.
  • Coordinate performance improvement initiatives and participate in relevant committees.
  • Analyze performance indicators to recommend region-specific enhancements.
  • Address complaints and incidents in compliance with company protocols.
  • Review and suggest revisions to company policies and procedures as necessary.
  • Evaluate client referrals and determine service capabilities.
  • Assign qualified clinical staff to clients based on needs.
  • Regularly meet with case managers to provide support and guidance.
  • Ensure availability and maintenance of necessary supplies and equipment.
  • Assist clinical staff in prioritizing tasks and evaluating progress.
  • Participate in case conferences to enhance care coordination.
  • Collaborate with administration to set departmental priorities and budget requirements.
  • Maintain current local contracts and review clinical personnel productivity.
  • Ensure 24-hour nursing coverage and assess on-call service quality.
  • Build relationships with local healthcare professionals to enhance resource access.
  • Support clinical staff and families in navigating healthcare resources.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical policies through education and training.
  • Facilitate continuing education programs for staff.
  • Assist in resolving client and reimbursement issues through problem-solving sessions.
  • Stay informed about community resources and industry trends.
  • Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with standards.
  • Conduct regular reviews of clinical records and participate in quality assessments.
  • Lead teams in identifying client needs and opportunities for service improvement.
  • Engage in marketing and public relations efforts as needed.
  • Support performance improvement initiatives through data collection.
  • Ensure personnel are credentialed according to state regulations.
  • Assist in the recruitment and orientation of new staff.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide necessary supervision.
  • Monitor employee metrics and address any issues promptly.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of safety practices and promote a safe working environment.
  • Designate an alternate leader in their absence.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current, unrestricted RN license in the relevant state.
  • BSN or MSN preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of nursing experience, preferably in home care.
  • At least three years of management experience preferred.
  • Experience in case management is a plus.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and present findings effectively.
  • Knowledge of home care regulations and reimbursement processes.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record.
