We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Operations Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional building operations and maintenance services to our clients. As a key member of our Facilities Management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Class A facility in New York City.
Key Responsibilities- Provide formal supervision to employees, including training, development, and performance evaluations.
- Coordinate and lead the team's daily activities, including establishing work schedules, assigning tasks, and cross-training staff.
- Coordinate and lead all aspects of facility repairs and maintenance, collaborating with union and non-union technicians, vendors, and contractors.
- Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings to resolve facility issues.
- Prepare and lead large and high-profile capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports.
- Perform facility inspections to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
- Create environmental health and safety procedures for facilities.
- Develop vendor relationships and coordinate invoicing procedures.
- Apply a broad knowledge of the business and own subject area to achieve team and departmental objectives.
- Model behaviors consistent with CBRE's RISE values and influence others to adopt a different point of view.
- Identify and tackle technical and operational problems of complexity.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Property or Facility Management certification highly preferred.
- Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and exciting performance and retention.
- Ability to own the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information.
- Leadership skills to empower the team to achieve broad operational targets.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Extensive interpersonal skills and an inquisitive approach.
- Intermediate math skills.
