KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee team performance metrics, focusing on schedule adherence and budget management.

  • Guarantee timely completion and submission of deliverables in line with contractual obligations.
  • Assist in the creation of proposals and bidding documents for forthcoming government contracts.

  • Facilitate effective communication among stakeholders and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams and external partners or vendors.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of four years of experience in a project or program management capacity.
  • At least four years of experience within a government contracting context.
  • Thorough understanding of various contract types, including Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), and Time and Materials (T&M).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • High proficiency in grammatical editing and proofreading.
  • Must demonstrate motivation as a team player and possess initiative.
  • Strong organizational capabilities with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) is preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of contractual negotiations, including government contracts, US Government regulations such as FAR and DFARS, and proposal development.
  • Possession of an active security clearance.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • Requirements include:
  • U.S. citizenship.
  • No dishonorable military discharge.
  • No current involvement in illegal drug use.
  • No mental incompetence or incapacity as determined by a mental health professional.
  • No prior clearance revocation for security reasons.
  • No dual citizenship and no current passport from a non-U.S. country.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits include company-sponsored health insurance, a 401(k) plan, and three weeks of paid time off for full-time employees.
