Job Summary

IEA Management Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Lead Project Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for financial reporting, including proper phasing of costs, monitoring productivity, projecting job costs, managing subcontractor contracts, and change order management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Project Engineer is responsible for financial reporting, including proper phasing of costs, monitoring productivity, projecting job costs, managing subcontractor contracts, and change order management.
  • Manage Field PE(s) and ensure their responsibilities are correctly executed, including project engineering, documentation management, accounts payable, and material tracking.
  • Support the Project Manager in overseeing the Field PE's successful execution of the project engineering, documentation management, accounts payable, and material and quantity tracking processes.
  • Monitor phasing of job costs, ensuring all costs are tracked in the correct phases.
  • Monitor productivity, material tracking, subcontractor contract value, staffing, and equipment usage weekly and notify the Project Manager of variances from budget.
  • Develop the Monthly Performance and Progress Report (MPPR), which includes estimating the final job costs per phase and updating and maintaining the change order log, pay applications log, risk matrix, staffing matrix, and equipment matrix.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's of Science in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar Engineering field.
  • Two (2) years of Project Engineering or comparable experience.
