Account Manager - Industrial Automation

T.I.E. Industrial is seeking a seasoned Account Manager to drive growth through new customer acquisition and maintain existing relationships in the industrial automation aftermarket spare parts and repair industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell the company's complete offering of automation spare parts and repair services to end-user manufacturing customers.
  • Document sales activity in Salesforce (CRM) and monitor sales activity on a daily basis.
  • Research and identify prospective new customers within assigned territory, securing appointments to promote T.I.E. Industrial's products and services.
  • Strategically manage large and high-potential accounts to achieve incremental business.
  • Develop and utilize knowledge necessary to support and build sales with both new and existing customers, staying informed on industry trends, customers, and competitors.
  • Act as a team player with all facets of the organization, communicating professionally and in a timely manner.
  • Travel as required to reach customers and potential customers in assigned territory, with most travel typically within a reasonable driving distance based on territory assignments.
  • Professionally represent T.I.E. Industrial in the marketplace.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of demonstrated success in industrial and/or technical sales is required, with experience in industrial automation or industrial services being a plus.
  • Self-starter, self-motivated, competitive, well-organized, persuasive, energetic, and ambitious, with strong team player skills.
  • Professional communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to penetrate accounts to ultimately reach and influence key decision makers.
  • A highly likable, high-energy person with the ability to build relationships.
  • Solution sales skills.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a strong sense of urgency to meet customer needs while driving sales.
  • Computer skills, with experience with Salesforce or other CRM software being a plus.
  • Ability to travel within assigned territory on a daily basis, with some overnight travel.
  • Ability to travel outside of assigned territory as required for bi-annual sales meetings.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis, with T.I.E. Industrial not offering sponsorship for work visas.
  • Salesforce experience is strongly preferred, with other CRM experience considered.
