Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory levels, track order status, and forecast future needs to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Monitor inventory and initiate electronic replenishment when stock reaches designated reorder points.
  • Reconcile discrepancies between orders placed and inventory received.
  • Coordinate the loading dock and incoming deliveries, distributing materials to designated suites.
  • Review expiration dates on incoming inventory and rotate stock accordingly.
  • Report and resolve inaccurate and damaged inventory to vendors and internal customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency in Excel, inventory management software, and database systems.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • Previous experience in inventory management within a medical facility or setting.
  • Knowledge of University policies and procedures.
