Premier Choice Senior Management Group is in search of a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to assume a crucial role in delivering clinical oversight for a variety of senior care clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee staff in Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Specialty Care settings, including training, task delegation, and performance evaluations.
  • Assess the health and wellness of residents, ensuring appropriate care including medication administration and dietary management.
  • Work alongside the administrator on staff scheduling and engage in evaluation meetings.
  • Interact with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
  • Respond to emergency situations as part of an on-call rotation.
  • Identify safety risks within resident accommodations and provide necessary safety guidance.
  • Conduct health evaluations, maintain precise medical documentation, and manage outpatient records.
  • Assist visitors and handle phone inquiries at the facility.
  • Lead training sessions for care staff.
  • Organize transportation for residents to medical appointments.
  • Participate in training workshops and meetings to improve professional competencies.
  • Follow safety protocols and report any concerns to the administrator and collaborating RN.
  • Ensure the rights of residents are respected and provide courteous service to all.
  • Collaborate with the administrator on admissions and ensure adherence to service plans.
  • Review resident charts and clinical notes for ongoing evaluations.
  • Communicate changes in resident needs to physicians and other relevant personnel.
  • Be available for on-call emergencies, carrying a mobile phone as required.
  • Coordinate educational opportunities for staff, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

  • A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred, although an Associate's degree or diploma in Nursing is acceptable.
  • A minimum of five years of nursing experience in a comparable setting.
  • Strong understanding of medical procedures and excellent clinical assessment abilities.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Effective communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • A compassionate approach to patient care.

Work Environment: This position requires the ability to work effectively in both residents' apartments and assisted living facilities, with potential exposure to various health-related environments.
