About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced accounting professional to join our team at ABC Bookkeeping & Business Support. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional accounting services to our clients, ensuring accurate and timely financials, and maintaining the highest levels of integrity and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and balance sheet accounts.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to clients on financial management and planning.
  • Develop and implement accounting systems and procedures to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients, responding to their financial needs and concerns.
Requirements
  • Minimum Associate's degree in Accounting or related field, plus 2 years of experience, or 5+ years of experience in accounting with increased responsibility.
  • Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software, including desktop and online versions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and in-person.
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to follow through accurately and efficiently.
  • Must satisfactorily pass a background and credit check.
Desired Qualifications
  • Current QuickBooks Pro Advisor Certification, desktop and online.
  • Familiarity with various accounting applications, including Jetpack, Gusto, Square, Swizznet, and T-sheets.
  • Experience with small business financial reporting analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Ability to supervise others and oversee an assigned book of business.
