Job Summary

The Suite Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests in the Suites. This role requires a personable and adaptable individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with setup of food service areas within specific suites and club areas based on pre-orders
  • Ensure all assigned suites are set prior to events based on communication received of orders
  • Organize and prepare events in assigned locations
  • Assist with closing out financials per event and ensure correct billing takes place
  • Monitor and maintain food quality
  • Follow company policies and procedures, upholding safety and sanitation standards, and ensuring a positive atmosphere for team members and guests
  • Monitor and enforce safe alcohol policies and procedures
  • Monitor and maintain inventory control and product requisition
  • Have full knowledge of food and beverage menu items and accompaniments
  • Supervise the service of beverages to guests, including alcoholic beverages, and verify minimum age requirement for purchase
  • Respond to additional guest requests
  • Ensure suites have all necessary serving ware
  • Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas
  • Recognize guests who are visibly intoxicated and take action to cut off alcohol

Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
  • Possess valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations
  • Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly
  • Ability to calculate basic math functions as they relate to POS cash/credit transactions, cash reconciliation, and product inventory

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 1-2 years' experience working in a food and beverage or customer service role
