Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team at Toshiba America Business Solutions, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing warehouse operations to meet business and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the coordination, handling, storage, transportation, stocking, order filling, shipping, and flow of products through the warehouse area.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures and best practices for safe and efficient warehouse operations.
  • Ensure low-cost operations by researching and analyzing methods of transportation and inventory movements and make recommendations for equipment and automation improvements in the warehouse.
  • Manage inventory control programs to ensure product is readily available for delivery.
  • Oversee storage space assignment for optimal use of warehouse location.
  • Manage inventory and audit schedules as appropriate.
  • Manage the entry of data into the warehousing system to ensure all records accurately reflect physical inventory.
  • Analyze inventory deviations and develop and maintain inventory reports.
  • Identify problematic areas and develop/implement corrective actions.
  • Develop delivery schedules and coordinate with sales and service to ensure products are delivered on time according to contract commitments.
  • Maintain delivery vehicles and shipping department.
  • Ensure vehicle safety, including DOT rules and regulations for truck safety, and ensure warehouse safety and OSHA compliance.
  • May manage, plan, and control equipment processes from order to delivery, including the coordination of equipment from multiple warehouse locations to be parted or refurbished.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Interface with customers, sales, and service to maintain positive customer relations and resolve issues as necessary.
  • Ensure all customer service standards are met effectively and efficiently.
  • May manage recycling efforts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • 5 years of experience in one or more of the following: warehouse operations, logistics, distribution, material control/inventory planning, and vendor management/negotiation.
  • Experience in a supervisory role preferred.
  • Strong familiarity with automated inventory systems and computer literacy (MS Excel, MS Word, Lotus Notes).
  • Process improvement abilities preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and make sound decisions based on operational needs.
  • Demonstrated ability in order processing and reconciliation.
  • Written and verbal communication skills with the ability to excel in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment.
