Responsibilities:

The primary focus is to accurately count and reconcile inventory levels within our stockrooms, ensuring the integrity of our inventory data through regular cycle counting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct daily cycle counts of inventory items according to established schedules and procedures.
- Utilize inventory management software and handheld devices for precise recording of inventory counts and adjustments.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and inventory records promptly.
- Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to identify root causes of inventory discrepancies and implement corrective measures.
- Maintain organized and clean work areas to ensure efficient inventory counting processes.
- Assist in developing and implementing inventory control policies and procedures to enhance inventory accuracy.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to provide updates on inventory counts and address any issues or concerns.
- Participate in periodic inventory audits and assist with reconciliation processes as necessary.
- Support basic inventory functions and perform housekeeping tasks in the area.
- Contribute to the organization's metric goals and objectives.
- Adhere to all procedures, desk instructions, and standard operating documents.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in inventory and/or stockroom roles is required.
- Detail-oriented, motivated, and a critical thinker.
- Previous experience in inventory control, cycle counting, or warehouse operations is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and handheld devices for data entry and record-keeping.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in conducting inventory counts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies efficiently.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members and convey inventory-related information.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules, including occasional overtime or weekend shifts as necessary.
