Key Responsibilities:

As a Field Service Technician, you will:

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair inventory control and video equipment in retail environments.
  • Document service calls using computer systems, detailing products serviced, work performed, and parts utilized.
  • Manage parts inventory to ensure first-time fixes.
  • Provide training and demonstrations to customers on equipment usage.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • An associate degree in Electronics is preferred; however, certification or formal training in Electronics, Networking, or a technical military equivalent is acceptable.
  • The ability to obtain or hold a state security license as required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and general computer skills.
  • A foundational understanding of electronics, with experience in network device setup and programming being advantageous.
  • A mechanical aptitude and the ability to utilize hand and power tools effectively.
  • The capability to perform physical tasks, including lifting equipment and tools weighing up to 50-70 lbs.
  • The willingness to work in various positions, including climbing ladders and navigating tight spaces.
  • Flexibility to travel and work overtime as necessary, including potential overnight stays for training or assignments.
