About the Role

The South Suburban Council on Alcoholism and Substance Abuse seeks an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our support staff, you will provide administrative assistance to our management team, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct phone calls to the correct departments">
  • Schedule appointments in Outlook">
  • Types and distributes memos, minutes, manuscripts, and reports">
  • Phone screen candidates">
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports">
  • Develop and maintain an electronic filing system">

Requirements:

We are seeking an individual with strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. A valid driver's license and minimal auto insurance are required. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience working in a clinical environment and possess an Associate Degree or completed secretarial training program.

Benefits:
