We are looking for a Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in the home health sector.

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

The Home Health Speech Language Pathologist delivers speech therapy services to patients experiencing various speech, language, and swallowing disorders, aiming to help them regain or enhance their communication abilities.

  • Conduct initial evaluations at patients' residences.
  • Utilize various assessments to evaluate the patient's condition.
  • Formulate and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Communicate patient progress and any modifications in care plans to physicians.
  • Consult with families and caregivers regarding safety measures and swallowing protocols.
  • Document clinical notes and progress on the same day of service.

Qualifications/Skillsets

  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Current, active license to practice as an SLP in the state.
  • Meets the educational and experiential criteria for a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • Minimum of one year of clinical experience as an SLP-CCC.
  • Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.
  • Understanding of age-related communication and care differences.
  • Ability to meet productivity standards, organize tasks, and manage time efficiently.
  • Work independently and exercise sound judgment in challenging situations.
  • Demonstrate sensitivity to the needs and experiences of diverse individuals.
