Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Facilities Management, PM&E Structure to join our team at Walmart. This role will be responsible for driving the development and execution of business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consult with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; solicit, evaluate, and apply suggestions for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Maintain relationships and support internal stakeholders by identifying improvement opportunities and recommending enhancements to performance, efficiency, and facility programs.
  • Support financial planning by analyzing historical data and developing future budget projections; establish maintenance/repair spend plans to achieve annual operating performance objectives for the business; establish capital expenditure spend plans to achieve annual capital expenditure objectives for the business.
  • Support vendor and customer service needs by establishing contracts with set service-level agreements; maintain data files on repairs and modifications; communicate corporate and industry standards to vendors; ensure compliance to standards; and evaluate KPI metrics for vendor performance.
  • Assist in managing the department budget by gathering and analyzing trending data; validate spend related to materials and labor; review facility-related invoicing by set procedure; develop reports; approve spending proposals at set spending limits; manage warranty reimbursement; and assist internal teams with landlord compliance and lease agreements.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; support and align efforts to meet customer and business needs; and build commitment for perspectives and rationales.
  • Build relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identify business needs; determine and carry out necessary processes and practices; monitor progress and results; recognize and capitalize on improvement opportunities; and adapt to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and support company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; utilize and support the Open Door Policy; and provide direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field and 4 years' experience in facilities management, construction management, engineering, or related area OR 6 years' experience in facilities management, construction management, engineering, or related area.
  • Preferred qualifications include building controls automation software, creating budgets and managing profit and loss statements, retail operations management, supervisory experience, and certifications in project management, facilities management, or related fields.

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000.00-$155,000.00, annual or quarterly performance bonuses, and additional compensation for certain positions, including stock.
