Job Title: Direct Support Professional 2 La Puente

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional 2 to join our team at Redwood Family Care Network. As a Direct Support Professional 2, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with developmental disabilities in their daily lives.

Job Summary:

The Direct Support Professional 2 will assist clients with daily routines, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks. You will also provide emotional support and advocacy to help clients achieve their goals and live independently.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily routines, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
  • Provide emotional support and advocacy to help clients achieve their goals and live independently
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to meet the unique needs of each client
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless care and support
  • Document client progress and provide regular updates to family members and caregivers
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 year of experience working with adults with developmental disabilities preferred
  • CPR/First Aid certification required
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
