About the Department
The Identity and Access Management (IAM) team is committed to the secure and effective oversight of user identities, access rights, and authentication processes across all organizational systems, applications, and data.
Our goal is to protect the organization from unauthorized access, safeguard sensitive data, and facilitate smooth user interactions while complying with industry standards and best practices.
About the RoleAs an IAM Security Specialist, you will be instrumental in designing, deploying, and overseeing identity and access management frameworks.
Your responsibilities will include ensuring the security of our systems, applications, and data by implementing robust user access, authentication, and authorization protocols.
Your role may involve reviewing reports from diverse sources (automated scanners, employee feedback, logs, etc.), managing and configuring automated tools (Terraform, Open Policy Agent, Workers, etc.), establishing controls to enforce policies (two-factor authentication, role-based access, etc.), and developing tools, reports, or platforms to support the objectives of the team.
Security specialists engage in a broad range of tasks and projects within the team.
While no single individual is expected to possess all knowledge, a foundational understanding in several of the following areas is essential:
- Strong comprehension of identity federation (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, etc.)
- Experience with IAM policy application and enforcement
- Proven track record in designing, implementing, and managing IAM solutions
- Familiarity with Open Policy Agent
- Background in DevOps / DevSecOps practices
- Proficiency with configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, etc.
- Experience with Information Technology platforms and systems
- Knowledge of SaaS security (Google Workspace, Salesforce, Workday, Atlassian, etc.)
- Experience in configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining network security infrastructure (Web content filtering, Firewall, IDS, and DLP controls)
- Familiarity with API gateways and API security
- Understanding of Zero Trust security principles
- Experience in secure configuration of cloud-based storage and data management systems
- Knowledge of secure configuration of containerized application platforms (e.g., Kubernetes)
- Advanced programming skills (Python, TypeScript, Bash, etc.)
