Job Overview

Carewatch of Michigan Homecare is seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to provide essential personal care and support to our clients in their homes. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our clients, and we are committed to providing the necessary training and resources to support your success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care Assistance: Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, to promote their independence and dignity.
  • Household Support: Provide light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders to help clients maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Companionship and Engagement: Offer emotional support and engage clients in meaningful activities, such as hobbies or social events, to combat loneliness and isolation.
  • Health and Safety: Monitor clients' health and safety, and report any changes or concerns to our management team.
Requirements
  • Experience and Training: Prior caregiving experience is advantageous, but not required; we provide comprehensive training to ensure your success.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting and transferring clients, and handle personal care responsibilities.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and a compassionate attitude are essential for building trust and rapport with our clients.
  • Reliability and Transportation: Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required for this role.
