Director of Peer Support Services

Job Summary
The Director of Peer Support Services is a key member of our team at COMMUNITY HELPING ADDICTS NCE. This role requires strong leadership and guidance skills to support our Peer Support Specialists and peers in an inclusive environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and empowering a team of individuals who can deliver high-quality, person-first services to our community members.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and supervise Peer Support Specialists and staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
Develop and implement a culture that reflects the mission of COMMUNITY HELPING ADDICTS NCE and our evolving peer-delivered services model.
Collaborate with Site Managers and staff to achieve program goals and objectives.
Provide ongoing training and education to Peer Support Specialists to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver services effectively.
Monitor and maintain the ethical delivery of services by staff, including compliance with our Code of Ethics.
Ensure that services are delivered in a compliant manner to meet contract and grant requirements.
Develop and maintain the model of delivering peer services, including documentation, engagement, and professionalism.
Support Site Managers in resolving staff or peer conflicts and provide group and individual supervision as needed.
Attend leadership and staff meetings, and participate in community events and partnerships.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and CHANCE policies and procedures.
Requirements
CADC1 certification.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Basic computer skills (Microsoft suite).
Ability to pass a state background check.
MHACBO/Peer Support Specialist certification.
Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
Dependability, flexibility, punctuality, and strong stress management skills.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
Skills Professional demeanor and individual respect.
Team player with excellent communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with peers, community partners, and staff without bias.
Knowledge of community and social service agencies.
Manual dexterity and physical ability to perform assigned tasks.
De-escalation methods and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
