At In Our Own Voices, Inc., we are seeking a dedicated LGBTQ+ Health Services Director to oversee our comprehensive health services. This is a pivotal role responsible for managing and growing diverse programs and initiatives that align with our mission and vision.

About the Role
  • This position involves overseeing the organization's health services, including advocacy, mental health support, youth services, group facilitation, training, technical assistance, event coordination, and program evaluation.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to LGBTQ+ health and wellness, as well as excellent leadership and supervisory skills.

We are looking for a dynamic leader who can manage and grow our programs effectively, while also providing exceptional support to our team members and community partners.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive health services, including advocacy, mental health support, youth services, and group facilitation.
  • Manage and supervise a team of staff members, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to deliver high-quality services.
  • Collaborate with community partners to identify needs and develop programs that meet those needs.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure that our services are meeting the highest standards.
  • Prepare and submit reports to funders and other stakeholders, as required.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Social Work, Mental Health, or a related field.
  • Minimum three years of experience in human services, including outreach, education, or case management.
  • Experience working in multicultural environments and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and navigate varied work environments.
  • Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
