Position Overview:
As a Center Medical Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our donors. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough physical examinations and assessing medical histories to determine donor eligibility.
- Building strong relationships with donors to promote a positive experience.
- Maintaining confidentiality for both donors and staff.
- Educating donors about potential health risks and providing guidance on test results.
- Managing donor-related incidents and injuries effectively.
- Evaluating medical histories to ensure ongoing donor suitability.
- Participating in training programs for new employees.
- Administering health programs, including vaccinations.
Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a valid certification or license as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Paramedic, or EMT in accordance with state regulations. A current CPR certification is also required.
