Position Overview:

As a Center Medical Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our donors. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough physical examinations and assessing medical histories to determine donor eligibility.
  • Building strong relationships with donors to promote a positive experience.
  • Maintaining confidentiality for both donors and staff.
  • Educating donors about potential health risks and providing guidance on test results.
  • Managing donor-related incidents and injuries effectively.
  • Evaluating medical histories to ensure ongoing donor suitability.
  • Participating in training programs for new employees.
  • Administering health programs, including vaccinations.

Qualifications:

Applicants must possess a valid certification or license as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Paramedic, or EMT in accordance with state regulations. A current CPR certification is also required.
