About the Position:

The Financial Accountant role will be responsible for preparing and maintaining financial records to monitor the organization's assets, liabilities, profits and losses, tax obligations, and other related financial activities.

This position will collaborate closely with all team members to continuously enhance the efficiency and accuracy of Dometic's financial reporting while adhering to corporate guidelines and regulations.


General Responsibilities:
Maintain the general ledger.
Preparation of monthly journal entries.

Support timely monthly, quarterly, half-year, and year-end financial close processes, including assigned journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, accruals, and overall maintenance of all operational management accounts.

Conduct mid-level general ledger account reconciliations, verify data accuracy, and report, identify, and rectify errors.
Prepare special financial reports as requested by management by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
File sales tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies.
Prepare and file 1099 forms.
Review and manage expense and credit card reporting.
Handle international accounts payable processing.
Maintain knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
3 years' experience in accounting/finance required.

Skills, Competencies & Characteristics:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
Structured, inquisitive, and analytical working style.
Professional with a strong work ethic.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong coordination skills with attention to detail while maintaining a broader perspective.
Project management skills with a focus on process improvement projects are a plus.
