Financial Accountant/Controller

Ramos Consulting Services, Inc. (Ramos CS) is a California-based Corporation, independently owned and operated. We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant/Controller to join our team.
Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the finance and accounting organization, ensuring efficient billing and collections activities for all clients and programs.
- Serve as a liaison between the billing team, subcontractors, and clients, providing strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Manage support teams associated with finance, project financial controls, and billing, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Responsible for maintaining current and accurate books and records in Quickbooks, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Supervise the entry of all accounting data into Quickbooks, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Responsible for financial planning, analysis, and reporting to all managers, providing trend analysis, variance analysis, and graphic reporting.
- Design and implement budgeting and forecasting tools, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare and provide monthly financial reporting to management, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Maintain strong banking relationships, providing information as required to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Work with tax accountants to provide information for timely tax filing, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and standards.
- Work closely with external auditors to provide information as required, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and regulations.
- Communicate with regulatory agencies, providing required reporting and information to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Responsible for selecting and implementing new ERP systems, ensuring alignment with financial reporting requirements.
- Maintain program and project records accurately, providing financial reporting to program and project managers.
- BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, or related degree.
- 7+ years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Demonstrated ability to combine large data sets and perform informative analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, with key skills in Excel (formulas and pivot tables).
- MS in Finance, Accounting, or related degree.
- Experience in the AEC (Architects, Engineers, Contractors) Industry.
- 10+ years of experience related to financial budgeting and practices.
- Experience facilitating cost reductions through process and fact-based enhancements.

Location: Pasadena, CA (Hybrid)
Compensation: The approximate pay range for this role is $100k-$180k annual base salary. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
