As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the efficient operation of the plant, ensuring the production of high-quality aluminum and aluminum/lithium alloy ingot at the lowest cost while meeting quality and delivery commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and motivate a team to effectively manage goals related to Safety, Quality, Cost & Delivery.
  • Accountable for EH&S results, productivity, improvements, employee development, maximizing the value of diversity, and customer delivery through implementation of company's Lean Manufacturing Systems principles.
  • Ensure consistent implementation and execution of policies and systems to guarantee that customer expectations are met at the lowest cost and always with safety at the forefront of every activity.
  • Responsible for planning and sometimes leading Kaizens, TPM, and safety events in their areas.
  • Overall managerial responsibility for all production and maintenance salaried and hourly employees in the department.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience in Stamping, Forging, Metal Operation with Big Equipment experience can all work.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Director of Operations or Plant Manager in a heavy industry operation.
  • Experienced in Theory of Constraints is required.
  • Technical and interpersonal skills are essential to teamwork.
  • Experience building highly effective teams, including coaching & mentoring.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or have a green card and live in the U.S.
  • Financial acumen
