Location: Chicopee, MA

Work Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday

The Chicopee facilities encompass two buildings, totaling 120,000 square feet and accommodating 120 staff members, situated 5 miles apart. These facilities support manufacturing, laboratories, warehousing, and administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of facilities, EHS compliance, and employee services.
  • Lead the strategic planning and execution of infrastructure initiatives, including new construction and office relocations.
  • Provide technical guidance for design, constructability, budgeting, and scheduling in construction projects.
  • Ensure adherence to EHS and Global Security regulations as well as Agilent policies.
  • Promote sustainability initiatives and represent Agilent in interactions with external regulatory bodies.
  • Collaborate with various business units to enhance infrastructure services and support organizational growth.
  • Manage all aspects of an annual budget (operational and capital expenditures) and establish supplier and team objectives.
  • Maintain relationships with tenants and address real estate requirements.
  • Support EHS systems and programs, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and procedures.
  • Conduct investigations into incidents and EHS audits, maintaining an effective EHS Management system.
  • Lead preparedness for emergency responses and implement related protocols.
  • Communicate effectively across various levels and formats.
  • Foster teamwork within a matrix organization.
  • Manage complex priorities and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Provide technical support and training in advanced EHS assessments and control technologies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Construction, or EHS.
  • 8+ years of demonstrated experience in facility/project engineering, EHS, or Regulatory/Compliance.
  • Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, and other pertinent regulations.
  • Experience in life sciences or injection molding manufacturing is advantageous.
  • Strong business acumen and results-driven mindset.
  • High emotional intelligence and exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to drive change and foster continuous improvement.
  • Balance strategic and tactical skills effectively.
  • Experience with hazard and risk assessments in manufacturing settings.
  • Knowledge of design-build and specification-based construction processes.
Travel Requirements:
Occasional travel may be necessary.
