Job Overview:

Purpose:

To warmly welcome and seat all patrons in a courteous manner, ensuring a memorable experience and a gracious farewell, while adhering to the highest standards of customer service.


Key Responsibilities:

Core Functions:
Welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor and exceptional service, following established greeting protocols.


Utilize reservation management software to seat guests efficiently, ensuring a smooth flow of service and proper communication with the serving staff.

Implement health and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment for all guests.

Respond to phone inquiries with enthusiasm, managing reservations and addressing guest questions effectively.

Oversee the dining area to manage seating arrangements and ensure guest satisfaction.

Coordinate server assignments to optimize service delivery and enhance guest experiences.


Process take-out orders and communicate effectively with the bar staff as needed.

Monitor the dining environment for availability, service quality, and guest well-being.

Assist team members and management as required.

Express gratitude to every guest upon their departure, encouraging their return and wishing them well.

Inform management and staff of any notable guests or specific requests.

Participate in team meetings and required training sessions.

Perform additional tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications:

Requirements:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.

Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously is necessary.

Demonstrated interpersonal skills and a positive attitude are crucial for teamwork.

Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays, is required.

Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while multitasking is important.

Physical Demands:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods is necessary.

Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.

Work Environment:
Primarily within the restaurant and bar areas, with occasional movement throughout the property.

Exposure to kitchen conditions, including high temperatures.

Outdoor exposure may occur, depending on operational needs.

Interaction with cleaning chemicals and food items is part of the role.

Equipment Utilized:
