Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Behavioral Health Clinical Intern to join our team. As an intern, you will work under the supervision of an assigned clinical supervisor to provide structured time-limited face-to-face clinical interventions for patients seeking behavioral health treatment or crisis intervention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides clinical interventions under the supervision of a licensed clinical supervisor.
  • May provide crisis intervention services.
  • Delivers individual therapy sessions.
  • May lead group therapy sessions.
  • Maintains accurate documentation per agency standards, including diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, progress notes, transfer/discharge summaries, screening, and assessment.
  • Fulfills all policy and procedure requirements of the agency.
  • Adheres to ethical codes of conduct at all times.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited graduate program with a behavioral health focus (counseling, social work, psychology).
  • Trainee license required if not already licensed.
  • Meets all onboarding requirements for employees, including background check, TB testing, and drug screening.
