**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Program Aide for School-Age Children. As a key member of our After School and Summer Day Camp program, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to grow and develop.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Assist the program director with program preparation and implementation.
  • Prepare materials and equipment needed for daily activities.
  • Serve meals and supervise children during meal periods.
  • Oversee specified age groups and daily activities.
  • Lead and participate in all facets of the program, including recreation, snack, craft, pool, and field trips.
  • Enforce facility policies and follow progressive disciplinary procedures when needed.
  • Document and report accidents using the EER process.
  • Perform end-of-day cleaning and organization tasks.
  • Drive program participants to and from activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

**Requirements:**

  • At least 1 year of experience working with school-age children.
  • Ability to be flexible and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Good communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential matters.

**Certifications and Licenses:**

  • CPR and First Aid Certification.
  • Safe from Harm training within 90 days of hire.

**Physical Requirements:**

  • Good speaking, hearing, and vision ability.
  • Excellent manual dexterity.
  • Ability to stand, bend, and reach for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and/or move more than 25 pounds occasionally.

**Working Conditions:**

  • Work environment may be moderate to loud at times.
  • Frequent exposure to sun and/or outside in varying weather conditions.
