Transmission Line Design Expert Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Transmission Line Design Expert to join our team in Wallingford, Connecticut. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing complex transmission line projects, providing technical expertise and guidance to a team of engineers.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil or related Engineering and at least 7 years of experience in transmission engineering, with a strong background in EPC projects. **Key Responsibilities:**

  • Design transmission lines, taking into account project needs and requirements.
  • Develop transmission equipment specifications, RFQs, technical bid summaries, and purchase recommendations.
  • Conduct economic conductor selection studies, lightning performance calculations, and grounding studies.

**Requirements:

  • Experience level: Experienced
  • Minimum 7 years of experience
  • Education: Bachelors

**Salary:** $110,000 - $125,000 per year. Based on education, work experience, and location, pay may vary. In addition to a competitive salary, Randstad offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, an incentive program, and 401K contribution (all benefits are based on eligibility).
