Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Setup and Maintenance: Set up and maintain machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems, as well as perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Welding and Fabrication: Perform welding, rebuilding, and fabrication tasks as needed.
  • Lubrication and Repair: Lubricate equipment and perform repairs as necessary.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Perform building repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements
  • Mechanical Background: Possess a strong mechanical background and understanding of equipment operation.
  • Welding Skills: Be proficient in welding (Tig/Stick) and able to read blueprints.
  • Plumbing and Refrigeration Knowledge: Have knowledge of plumbing (water, air, and hydraulic) and ammonia refrigeration systems.
  • Time Management and Communication: Possess strong time management skills and be able to communicate effectively with team members and plant personnel.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to work at heights up to 25' and work weekends as needed.
