Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, reinstalling, and maintaining electronic audio/visual equipment. You will also be responsible for installing and servicing systems in an efficient and effective manner, ensuring minimum downtime and maximum performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair electronic audio/visual equipment
  • Install and service AV systems
  • Communicate system performance to customers and internal teams
  • Assist the Technical Operations team with installation and system commissioning
  • Clear communication, documentation, and organization of paperwork, tools, and company vehicles
Requirements
  • Formal education in Electronics or related field
  • Minimum two years of AV experience
  • A four-year degree or military experience may be considered in place of job experience
  • Experience with Enterprise VC solutions (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Bluejeans, Cisco Telepresence etc.) both hardware and software
  • AVIXA General CTS (Certified Technical Specialist) is preferred
Additional Responsibilities
  • Field commissioning of AV systems and other engineering-related duties
  • Final commissioning of audio-visual equipment, including audio DSPs, CODECs, switchers, control systems, VTC systems, and video processors
  • Create user guides and train end users on how to use their A/V control systems
  • Refine current processes, develop a better workflow, and make recommendations
  • Work closely with the Technical Operations team, the Installation Manager, and the Manager of AV Integration while assuring a professional and safe working environment
