Position Overview:

The A&E Project Manager is responsible for spearheading interdisciplinary projects, primarily focused on federal contracts, while engaging with various customer and project types. Key responsibilities include managing project scope, timelines, and budgets from initial conceptual studies through to construction oversight. The ideal candidate will possess a proven ability in problem-solving, strong organizational skills, and a thorough technical understanding of construction documentation and design.

This role also encompasses:

  • Strong verbal and visual presentation skills
  • Business development expertise
  • Coordination and direction of staffing plans and activities
  • Exceptional communication abilities with project teams, clients, vendors, and contractors
  • Effective management of project contingencies
  • Skills in problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%

Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Engineering (Structural, Mechanical, Civil, Fire Protection, or Electrical)
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in architecture or engineering, with at least 10 years in project management
  • Eligibility for security clearance as a US Citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with federal Department of Defense projects
  • Familiarity with Design/Build project delivery methods
  • Active licensure in architecture or engineering
  • Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (Revit), Bluebeam, and AutoCAD
  • LEED accreditation and experience in sustainable project practices
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is between $115,000 and $199,000, commensurate with the candidate's experience and expertise.
