Overview

The Boeing Company is a leading innovator in the aerospace industry, and we are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer Crane Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Facilities Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining overhead crane systems at our Auburn & Fredrickson Boeing sites.

This role requires strong mechanical engineering skills, as well as excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. You will work closely with other engineering teams to ensure that all crane systems meet the highest safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance on the design, development, and maintenance of overhead crane systems
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
• Develop and implement new crane system designs and technologies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Conduct site visits to inspect and maintain existing crane systems

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in crane systems
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, including design, materials science, and mechanics of machines
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Location
