Currently, we are seeking a motivated Industrial Robotics Maintenance Specialist. This individual will provide FANUC America customers with on-site repair, troubleshooting, programming, or maintenance services for FANUC robots and related system peripheral equipment. The Specialist will work from one of our service centers or a remote home office to coordinate activities and offer hotline phone support between scheduled service calls. The Specialist must be able to travel to customer sites when scheduled or at a moment's notice to perform troubleshooting and repair functions on our robots and provide a service report upon completion. This position will primarily be home-based, except when traveling to customer sites.

The primary responsibilities of this role include: Troubleshooting, Repair, and Maintenance of FANUC Robots and Controllers, Electrical Control Devices, and Peripheral Equipment. Additionally, the Specialist will be responsible for discussing, diagnosing, documenting, and repairing robot operational and process problems as reported by the customer or internal service hotline. The Specialist will also need to provide daily reports to the Service Supervisor to update status and availability, as well as complete and provide a Field Service Report for each assignment to the customer and FANUC Headquarters.

We require the following skills and qualifications: A High School diploma or equivalent GED; an Associate's degree in a related technical field or equivalent technical education; and/or relevant experience. A minimum of three years of experience working in robotics, automation, or manufacturing environments is preferred. The ideal candidate must have or be able to obtain a valid driver's license and be willing to drive throughout our service area for business purposes. Mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting experience are essential, along with the ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic prints and related technical documentation. Knowledge of FANUC robots, controllers, and peripheral equipment is preferred, as well as experience with FANUC application software and programming. The Specialist must also be able to lift up to 75 pounds and work in various industrial environments. Travel within our service region by auto or air for at least five hours at a time may be required, with occasional air travel necessary.
